Capcom Cup is Capcom's largest Street Fighter Esports live event and is an annual international tournament to decide who the best Street Fighter player in the world is. I had the privilege

of designing the entire look for their 2023 campaign to be used for their digital broadcast, live event activations, and promotional materials. Assets ranged from large LED screens at a

live venue for thousands of attendees, to player matchups to be broadcasted on their live platforms. I conceptualized, pitched, and delivered final working files for this campaign

and worked with an assortment of cross departmental designers, editors, and vendors to bring the tournament to life.

The main design inspiration I drew upon for Capcom Cup IX was to feature their physical trophy in 3D space. I modeled and textured the Capcom Cup trophy in Cinema 4D and textured

it in Redshift. I elevated the design further by creating the hexagonal framing devices featuring sharp technological lines to accentuate the trophy's dramatic lighting. The package is

ultimately highlighted by the animated glowing features in the 3D design that give each individual graphic a sense of life and dynamism. The end result featured animations that would

travel from one screen to the next, or even greeted attendees with the latest schedule information for the day. The event was a massive success with thousands in attendance, and

hundreds of thousands of online concurrent views and hours watched.
